On October 21, 2021, the CFSA publicly solicited opinions on 11 new varieties of food additives including 2'-Fucosyllactose (Synthesis) (2'-FL) and inositol. The deadline for comments is November 18, 2021.

2'-FL (Synthesis) is applied as a new variety of nutritional fortification substance for formulated milk powder (milk powder for children only).
